Adams Osage Ridge Aronia Community Farm

Adams Osage Ridge Aronia Community Farm
Kathy and Joel Adams

We are located on the south ridge of the Missouri River on land once occupied by the Osage and Hopewell. We are a permaculture based food forest featuring high antioxidant berries such as aronia, elderberries, blackberries, raspberries, along with their companions, fruit trees, flowers and herbs, and vegetables. We have grapes and grape leaves! We also raise sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks in our system. We have a high tunnel which we use for year around production. Some of the berries we grow are known for their contribution to mitochondrial health and all have multiple health benefits many of written about in medical and nutritional journals and many more benefits waiting to be discovered by science and by you.

Specialized blend of humus and compost available by the bag, truckload, or dump truck load.

Our farm is based on permaculture principles using a variety of different plants living in harmony with one another nourishing the plant community together. We have a variety of hugelkulture beds and unique growing conditions on hillsides, where we raise nutrient dense berries.
